USUARCADEA PASSION FOR ARCADES

The arcade classics you grew up with, now online and two-player

Remember crowding around the same cabinet with your buddy, sharing the controls? Now you each play from your own couch, and you're both in the same game, just like back then.

Two lifelong friends play two-player from their own homes, remembering when they shared the controls of the same cabinet
Same old crew, same game. Each from their own home.

It's that easy

  1. Step into the arcade

With your free UsuJuegos account, or with Google or Apple. On your phone or computer, nothing to install.

  2. Grab your machine

Stroll past the cabinets, pick yours and drop in a coin. Just like always.

  3. Call up your buddy

Invite them right from the machine and play the same game together, each from your own place.

The classics

The machines that ate your weekend allowance. They're still here, plugged in and waiting for you.

The late '70s

The pioneers: bleeps, space invaders and that very first quarter.

The '80s

The golden age: mazes, platformers and the first two-player games.

The '90s

Fighting games with a crowd gathered around, and co-op on a grand scale.

Two-player, just like back then

One of you on each side of the cabinet, shoulder to shoulder. That's how it was played, and that's how it's played now: both of you in the same game at the same time, each with your own controls, from your own home.

Co-op
Team up against the machine: Metal Slug, Final Fight, Snow Bros, Bubble Bobble… and squabble over the last roast chicken.
Versus
Go head-to-head in Street Fighter II, Puzzle Bobble or NBA Jam. Beating the machine was nice; beating your buddy is a whole other thing.
Take turns
Pac-Man, Space Invaders or Donkey Kong, the way they were played: you take a life, they take a life, and in between you watch.

How online two-player works

An arcade to come back to

UsuArcade isn't a list of games: it's an arcade. You walk in, wander past the machines and see who's around, just like dropping by the neighborhood arcade to see what was going on.

A busy arcade: some people play, others watch over their shoulders and others chat on the couches

  • See who's there

Everyone has their own avatar: strolling around, kicking back on the couches or playing at their machine.

  • Watch games live

Stand behind whoever's about to clear the level, with picture and sound.

  • Chat with the room

Hellos, trash talk and the good old “one more game?”

  • Arcade high scores

Your initials at the top, so the rivalry carries on the next day.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. Every game starts with INSERT COIN, just like at the arcade, but you never pay a cent. All you need is a free UsuJuegos account, or sign in with Google or Apple.

Do I need to install anything?

No. You play in the browser on your phone or computer: jump in, pick a machine and play.

How do I play with a friend?

Send them the UsuArcade link and both join the same room. Take a seat at the machine, open the players panel and tap their name: they get an invite, and once they accept, you're playing the same game, each from your own home.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes, with on-screen touch controls. On a PC you play with a keyboard or a gamepad.
