Captain Commando was a cabinet that begged for friends: four sets of controls, four wildly different heroes and a futuristic city overrun with bad guys. When four players lined up, a crowd always gathered to see how far they'd get.
It isn't on UsuArcade yet, but it's on the arcade wish list.
History
Capcom released Captain Commando in 1991, from the same brawler school as Final Fight. The hero started out as a Capcom mascot, and his name is a play on the company's own.
Its mix of sci-fi, humor and over-the-top characters made it one of the genre's classics in the early 90s.
How to play
Pick from four heroes: Captain Commando himself with his energy gauntlets; Mack the Knife, an alien mummy with blades; Ginzu, a sword-wielding ninja; and Baby Head, a genius baby fighting from a mech. Each has his own reach, power and speed.
Fight forward with punches, grabs and jump attacks, grab weapons like guns and knives and, in some sections, hop into mechs that punch and shoot. A boss with his own style waits at the end of every stage.

- Baby Head is a super-genius infant who fights from inside a robot.
- Some mechs can be piloted by players mid-fight.
