History
Data East released it in 1988. In Japan and much of Europe it was simply DragonNinja; in North America it was Bad Dudes vs. DragonNinja, and over the years plain 'Bad Dudes' is the name that stuck.
Its opening line, daring you to be bad enough to rescue the President, became one of the most quoted and parodied bits of text in video game history.
How to play
Head right with punches, kicks and jumps through city streets, on top of a moving semi, through the sewers, a forest, a train and a cave. Many stages have two levels, and hopping between them is key to dodging the ninja swarm.
Hold the attack button to charge up a power punch. Along the way you'll find nunchucks and knives, soda cans that heal you and clocks that add time. Every stage ends with a boss, and the last one is DragonNinja himself.
